2008-10-06 :: Boris Gryslov has Signed the Official Address to Participants of the Forum

Boris Gryslov, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, has signed the official address to participants of the Forum “Strategic Planning in Regions and Cities of Russia”.

“One of the main goals of the state authorities and local self-governments is increasing quality of life of Russian citizens, - he said in his address. - The goal can be achieved by means of implementation in our country of a package of measures on providing balanced social and economic development of the subjects of the Russian Federation.
The All-Russia Forum “Strategic Planning in Regions and Cities of Russia” is effective federal platform for multilateral dialogue aimed at searching common approaches to development of integrated strategic planning system of the country, aimed at coordination of sectoral and territorial priorities of the state regional policy. Furthermore, it is an opportunity for exchange of opinions, experience and practicable methods of solving actual problems on  strategic planning system development in Russia. That is why the State Duma supports carrying out the Forum and is one of organizers of the Forum.” 

Special attention in the address is paid to the Regional Strategies Contest: “The Regional Strategies and Programs of Social and Economic Development Contest will be started in the framework of the Forum. The contest will contribute to broader dissemination of best practices of strategic planning, identification and dissemination of new approaches to attraction of investments, creation of environment for business and human potential development.”
Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly wished all participants of the Forum “success in achieving the goals to be sought”.
